Do Testosterone Boosters Work?

It’s a simple question with a tricky answer. Like with any supplement, there are bogus products and there are proven winners. We’ll break down the winners, the bogus stuff, and then link you to some of the deep research we did.

What To Look For

If you’ve seen some of the effects of lower Testosterone then you probably want to do something about it. Along the way you may have heard of this supplement or that, and they all promise the world.

We’ve done a lot of research into the actual science behind some effective T-Boosters, and we’ve come up with a list of some common ingredients to look for. If you want a deeper dive on the science, check out our in-depth article on each of these ingredients.

To answer the most important question, yes, these ingredients work.

D-Asp

A natural amino acid that can actually directly trigger Testosterone production. Sometimes called a ‘synthetic’ amino acid because our bodies construct it out of other amino acids.

Panax Ginseng

Much different than American Ginseng, Red or Asian Ginseng has actual benefits for Testosterone levels.

Ashwagandha Root

Another herb with a rich history, this one actually works.

Vitamins and Minerals

Look for Vitamins in the B family, D family, and minerals Zinc, Magnesium, and Boron.

What to Avoid

There are a few ingredients that are 100% bad for you, and some that are even illegal. This list is going to be very short. Do not use any product that claims to contain the following:

- Human Growth Hormone

- Testosterone

- Any Anabolic Steroid

These products are effective in the short term, but they are also illegal. In the long run they cripple your body's ability to produce its own testosterone, and can leave you with debilitating heart and health problems.

Conclusion

We can’t speak for every product on the market, and we don’t want to spread toxicity in the world. So without naming names, we’ll definitely say that there are some scam products out there.

But there are also Testosterone Boosters that work, with clear track records of satisfied customers. We have done the research on each product on our lists of recommended supplements and their ingredients. We cannot speak to products that we have not reviewed and recommended.
